 Richard Battle is an investment advisor and broker with the Capital Investment Companies. He has been with the firm since 1993 and in the financial services industry since 1981. Richard specializes in portfolio management and mutual funds. He graduated from UNC-CH with a BS in Business Administration. He is married with three children and enjoys basketball and golf.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University with a Masters in Business Administration. Ben is married with five children and enjoys spending time with his family.

TJ Fowler is involved with Performance Measurement and Presentation for Capital Investment Counsel. He has been with the firm since January 2004 and has been in the financial service industry since 2002. TJ graduated from UNC-G with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Communications Studies. In his free time he enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Sue Ellen Harrington is the operations manager for Capital Investment Counsel as well as corporate division of Capital Investment Companies. She as been with the firm since 1991 and maintains her general securities license. Sue Ellen graduated from NC State with a BA in Accounting. In her spare time she enjoys snow skiing.

Alan is a Chartered Life Underwriter and specializes in Insurance and Estate Planning. He is also past President of the Raleigh-Durham CLU Chapter. Alan attended Elon College and Wake Forest University. He is married with four daughters and five grandchildren and enjoys golf and traveling.

Steven enjoys tennis, backpacking, reading and traveling.
